Four Action-Packed Days of Equestrian Competition To Highlight 2004 Indonesian Horse Weekends

The Indonesian Horse Weekends in conjunction with the FEI/PSI World Jumping Challenge and National Games qualifications (PON XVI) will feature four days of exciting equestrian competition when it opens in Arthayasa Stables, Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 10-13, 2004.

Few companies - Mees Pierson, BMW, the Time Place, Indonesian Tatler as well as two Indonesian districts – Musi Banyu Asin (south Sumatran) and Kutai Kartanegara (
East Kalimantan), have joined forces with the Indonesian Horse Weekends in becoming the proud sponsors for this competition.

The Indonesian Horse Weekends will kick off with the qualifying dressage classes for the Indonesian National Games PON XVI, June 10. Competition continues with the first day of the FEI/PSI World Jumping Challenge Cat. A and Cat. B, June 11; followed by more dressage classes and One Star(*) Cross Country Event, June 12; and concludes with the second day of the PSI Jumping Challenge, including other showjumping classes, June 13.

The third day of competition, Friday, June 12, will feature a Pas de Deux and Freestyle to Music performances by the experienced riders, including Roy Ibrahim, the regional winner of this year Prix St.George, FEI/PSI World Dressage Challenge. The day will end with the Grand Cocktail Party presented by the main sponsor of the event Mees Pierson, private banking.

The Arthayasa show grounds provide top-notch facilities for riders, horses, and spectators alike. The grounds boast two all-weather dressage arenas, as well as several riding/schooling rings.
