Chris Ladbrook and Nicole Pearson Are Still In The Lead

After the fourth leg of the FEI/PSI World Jumping Challenge 2004 held in Jakarta, Arthayasa Stables, on 11-13 June 2004, Chris Ladbrook on Foolyfoot Mary, MAS (Cat. A), and Nicole Pearson on Happy King, THA (Cat. B), are still the only two riders who have jumped four clear rounds in the Challenge this year.

The competing countries in the group VIII are India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand. The results from India are not available at that time.

About FEI/PSI World Challenge.

This competition is held in over 60 countries worldwide and is focused on countries with riders who might not normally be in a position to travel to international competitions.

The FEI World Challenge is sponsored by PSI International, an organization based in
Germany which focuses on the sale and marketing of the competition horses. The structure of this competition caters to developing regions such as the South East Asia, and allows riders to compete internationally without leaving their home land.

The participating countries are divided into regions, scores will be tabulated and compared to others riders in the same region who have jumped the identical course, and placings will be determined. Malaysian riders compete against the riders from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and India.

The two highest placing competitors of each region, riding in the highest level class (120cm), will be invited to participate in the finals which are held in Germany the following year. The final for the year 2003 will be run on 29 June to 4 July 2004, Hagen, Germany:
