The Gading Open 2004 Announced

Equestrian Commission of Indonesia (ECI) announced the dates for The Gading Open, an equestrian event that is held every two years at different equestrian facilities in Indonesia.

This year The Gading Open will be held on 6-8 August, 2004 at Pegasus Stables, Sukabumi.

"The Gading Open is said to be the most prestigious equestrian event in the Indonesian National Event Calendar, and since this year it will be the last major competition before the PON XVI National Games 2004, we are going to hold PON XVI classes. About 100 riders and 100 horses are expected to result in approximately 350 entries. Placed riders in all classes will be awarded trophies, prizes, rosettes and medals", said Larasati Gading, event director.

The names of the foreign officials judges for the competition will be announced later. Entry closing date is August 1st, 2004.
