the Samsung Super League have now all confirmed their participation to
the FEI. The 8 nations qualified for 2004 are: Belgium, France, Great
Britain, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands and the USA.
FEI VET QUARTERLY NEWS
The future of equestrian sports can only be secured if the welfare of
the involved horses is well protected. A competitive use of the horse as
an athlete in sports, with its dependency on the rider to decide when
the limits of performance have been reached, necessitates the presence
of a veterinary safety net. Veterinary matters run through all FEI
disciplines like a 'red thread', whether it is in the form of
regulations, drug testing or research programmes.
