FEI announces an FEI Coaching System for developing NFs
December 27, 2003

An FEI Coaching System for the on-going education and improvement of coaches in all equestrian disciplines in developing NFs has been created.

Courses for Coaches will be organised on a regular basis, starting in 2004. NFs interested will be requested to actively collaborate with the FEI and put in place an adequate structure which will help in all aspects.

At this initial stage, the FEI Coaching System will focus on developing NFs. NFs from Western Europe and North America will be considered at a second stage.

FEI hopes to be able to raise the level of equestrian sport worldwide and will need the close collaboration of each interested NF.

Aim
The aim is to develop an FEI Coaching System, using an agreed syllabus for the on-going education and improvement of coaches in all equestrian disciplines in Developing NFs for the benefit of the sport and all those involved. The coaches produced by these courses will be jointly accredited by the NF and the FEI.

The following are considered developing regions:
- Asia

- South America
