Olympic Champion Anky Van Grunsven Gains Number One Spot

With an unchanged score of 79.552, the Dutch heroin Anky Van Grunsven is the leader of the FEI BCM World Dressage Riders Rankings and benefit from Ulla Salzgeberās decreased score.
The German Olympic silver medallist did not score any points for the rankings in September, but lost two high marks she scored in Mondorf Les Bains (LUX) in September 2003. Her average score for the 10 best performance of the period from 1 October 2003 to 30 September 2004 amounts to 79.536, only 0.016 points behind Van Grunsven.
Debbie McDonald (USA) firmly keeps her third place and is followed by Heike Kemmer (GE), Jan Brink (SWE) who goes up one place to reach the 5th rank.
