Victorious in both the SEA World Cup Qualifier and the Ladies Cup, main events at the recently concluded Premier Cup Series 2 . 29-06-08

South East Asia World Cup League Qualifier #2

Helena Gabrielsson

There was no lack of  excitement at the climax event of the long equestrian weekend in Putra Jaya as Helena Gabrielsson from Sweden riding her second horse Nixon de la Tourette  rode an impeccable round after incurring one time fault on her favourite ride KING POWER ALADDIN earlier on.

Jennifer Chang of Hong Kong rode a nice tidy round on Luxor 91. but unfortunately she had a time fault. Helena was third with her bouncy King Power Aladdin on 2 time faults and no jumping faults.

Qabil and Quizier  took fourth and fifth, both on 4 faults.

The Ladies Cup PREMIER CUP SERIES Putra Jaya

Deborah Bottreau with Charming

The Ladies Cup is a signature Event of the Premier Cup. Run as a championship  it is over two rounds. The results of the first round determine the runnning order of the second round over a different course.

Helena Gabrielsson on Nikita was the only rider to go double clear.

The top line up was taken by the established imported Show Jumpers, Shazna Leena on Helu du Coudard, Eda Wong on Señorita (previously owned by Michelle Barrera) and Rahida Razak on ARL Crocket. Thouroghbred ex Race horse from Hong Kong Forever Charming aka ¨Spooks¨(previously owned by Jennifer Chang) ridden by Deborah Bottreau put in a surprising performance to complete both rounds, a feat in itself. Carefully ridden stride by stride to keep his atttention on the course, the highly strung gelding is beginning to settle in his new equestrian career.
