Jakarta, – March 6, 2009. The next edition of Arthayasa Open, that is now called Arthayasa Sporthorse Open, will take place in the Arthayasa Stables & Country Club on 8-10 May 2009. With the new name comes a new addition to the event –Arthayasa Sporthorse Open will feature the first Indonesian Grand Prix in showjumping on Sunday, May 10.

The show organizer is delighted to announce that Mr. Olaf Petersen (GER), a FEI Official International Course Designer, will design the showjumping courses for the competition this year. For more than 30 years Mr. Petersen has been designing courses worldwide, from competitions for beginners up to the Olympic Games (Seoul 1988, Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008).  More information about Mr. Olaf Petersen and his work can be found at www.olaf-petersen.com.

Arthayasa Sporthorse Open will be held over three days and will run the various Indonesian National Showjumping Championship classes on Saturday and Sunday. The riders will have a chance to collect the points for the National Championship on both days.

Indonesian Rider Showjumping Championship – S class (125-130cm)
