This year’s Jumping Verona (Nov 6-8 FieraCavalli stand 1, pavilion 7B) will feature the debut of a new image for San Patrignano’s CSI5*, the only Italian show on the Rolex World Cup™ circuit.

The new slogan, “Change your perspective”, represents the therapeutic Community founded by Vincenzo Muccioli in 1978, signifying the added social value to an already prestigious event. The show, in fact, is organized by the 1500 young people of San Patrignano, who are recovering from drug addiction, and is the only such event to be held on the grounds of such a Community.  Horses are, in fact, a valuable therapeutic tool as well as providing opportunities for professional training.

The same slogan, catchphrase and images will accompany all promotional material for this summer’s CSI5*, to be held next July 30-August 1 in San Patrignano. The images are classic: a rider and his horse jumping a fence. However, the jump is vertical instead of horizontal – truly illustrating the originality of the event.

Jumping Verona is the most important event related to horses and equitation in the country – its partnership with San Patrignano is not new. In fact, last year’s Grand Prix at San Patrignano featured a “guest appearance” by a  fence with the “Fieracavalli” logo. During the Verona event, likewise, course designer and American riding legend Conrad Homfeld will have a San Patrignano obstacle to insert into a class.

One of San Patrignano breeding farms’ newest stars, Beijing, will also be present in Verona. The three year old chestnut stallion, by Selle Francias Dollar de  Lapierre and out of world champion mare Weihaiwej has qualified for the finals in free jumping.
