Raymen on 'Sniper' Wins MENEGPORA FEI World Jumping Challenge Indonesia 2010 Presented by PAZIA

Raymen Kaunang with Sniper

Raymen Kaunang won the MENEGPORA FEI World Jumping Challenge 2010 Presented by Pazia Category A, which was held in Arthayasa Stable, Limo-Depok Cinere, Sunday, April 25, 2010. Reshwara Radinal took the second place. Both with eight faults in four rounds.

Raymen and his horse 'Sniper' was clocked faster than Reshwara. Raymen recorded a total time of 132.01 seconds while Reshwara on 'Arthayasa Laluna' hit the finish line at 139.25 seconds.

Both Raymen and Reshwara achieved clear rounds in the second and third round. They also both dropped one obstacle each in the first and fourth round.

"I’m just lucky. Sniper is excellent and I also have great support from Mrs. Monica Budiyanti (Sniper’s owner)," said Raymen after ensuring his victory.

Sniper and Raymen, under the guidance of Nico Pelealu and Wempy Kaunang, have only been together about a year.



Third place after Raymen and Reshwara was Kurniadi Mustopo. Kurniadi, well-known under the name of Adi Katompo, collected 24 faults. In the first two rounds, Adi who rode Yasmina '3 K 'successfully posted clear rounds. Unfortunately in the last two rounds they got a 24 faults.

"After dropping a few fences, I was losing concentration. And in the same time Raymen  appears increasingly confident," said Adi.

Following in fourth and fifth positions were Ardi Hapsoro with his horse 'Veron' and then Mario Christianto with 'Casanova'.

In category B, Denis Christian Sanjaya with his horse 'Arthayasa Classico' emerged as champion with a total of 12 faults in four rounds.

Brayen Brata-Coolen riding 'Zinnie' came in second place with 16 faults. Anto Budiarto who rode 'Olanka' who went clear in the first two rounds had to settle for third. In the last two rounds they got  17 faults.

Following in the fourth and fifth position were Alyssa Prameswari with her horse 'Raffles' and followed by Rafiq Radinal on 'Landetta' each with 20 faults. Alyssa finished earlier at 123.88 seconds against 135.65 seconds.

Denis also wins the category C. With  'Rambo', the small but a very brave horse, he went clear in all four rounds.

Only Shanti Sadino on "Abdullah Socquet" could do the same. But Shanti had be satisfied in second place because her time of  71.07 seconds was poorer than Denis’ at 67.05 seconds.

In the third place came Albert Pelealu. Albert on 'Laluna H2' had four faults. In 4th position until the 7th were Heru Kuswara with his horse 'Fiury', Samantha Born (Calvados), Reshwara Argya Radinal (Zahamorka) and Jendry Palandeng (APM Asya).
