Equestrian / Olah raga Berkuda

Equestrian show will be back to Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim), Indonesia, this year for the National Games 7th - 14th July 2008 after last year trial competition PORPROP at Kutai, KALTIM Province.

Mr. H. M. Rusmin takes the lead of Pengda PORDASI KALIMANTAN TIMUR to make sure the show will go on. PORDASI/ECI expresse their appreciation that KALTIM is still committed to run the Equestrian competitions part of the National Games this year.

Tunggang Serasi / Dressage

After numerous discussions and considerations Dressage is on for the games again with three teams confirmed for the participation.

July 7th, 2008 morning Friendly CDN (Reg Games Team Test).
July 9th, 2008 afternoon CDN Team Competition (Reg Games Prelim).
July 11th, 2008 morning CDN Individual (Reg Games Individual Comp).

Lompat Rintangan / Show Jumping

July 9th, 2008 afternoon Friendly CSN.
July 10th, 2008 afternoon CSN Team Competition 115/120 cm.
July 11th, 2008 afternoon CSN Individual 125/130 cm.

Three day Event/ Trilomba

July 7th, 2008 afternoon Dressage CCN*.
July 8th, 2008 afternoon Cross Country CCN*.
July 9th, 2008 afternoon.

For three days the national riders will perform in dressage, cross country and show jumping. Every day each province will follow their best riders to find out who is the best...

Trial in 2007 PORPROP/ 2007 KALTIM Province Sport Weeks

In 2007 PORPROP was held as a trial show to make sure that the National Games 2008 will run smoothly. PORDASI KALTIM in cooperation with Arthayasa Stable arranged for 15 horses to fly to Kutai, East Borneo. The Equestrian show was a great success and attracted hundreds of local spectators.

Kutai Equestrian Center

Located in Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara the Kutai Equestrian Centre is is 147 Km from Balikpapan Airport, East Borneo. It was designed and built for the National equestrian competition, to develop the sport in the region. Other sport venues: Archery, Swimming, Cycling, Boxing, Water Skiing, Judo.

KUKAR Main Stadium

Facilities: Indoor arena 40mx80m, training arena 50mx70m, lunguing arena and paddocks. More than 80 stable, completed with MCP barn. Each province will have their own tack room, feed room, groom quarter, and storage.
